I've decided to start this thread because their are quite few Americans and potential American players in the Championship.

Here is the first notifications 12-29-13:

Bolton is tied 3-3 at the half. Ream is starting at CB

Birmingham is up 3-0 on Blackburn at half: Packwood and Spector not in the 18 for Brimingham. Adam Henley starting at LB for Blackburn.

Huddersfield up 3-1 on Yeovil: Holmes on the bench.

Nottingham Forest up 1-0 on Leeds: Lichaj starting at LB for Forest. Ariyibi on the bench for Leeds.

Reading down 2-0 to Middllesboro: Williams starting for Reading. Hines on the bench for Boro.

QPR tied 0-0 with Watford: Onyewu not in the 18 for QPR.

As far as I know these are the Americans and potential Americans playing in the Championship.

I watched the game. Ariyibi didn't do much. He tried to take Lichaj on a few times, but was stuffed by the more experienced and just as fast Lichaj.

Hopefully Ariyibi will get more chances. He didn't do anything to hurt his chances going forward.

I have to make one correction: Ream played at LB not CB.

Also of note Huddersfield is only 4 points off from a playoff spot. They have talent on that team, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them in a playoff spot come May.

Trread name scared me...thought it was the Champions league thread wondering why it was in the England section...but I got it.

Holmes has alot of potential and i like his game. Also as i have said many times before itsd time to bring adam henley into a camp. I mean are rb options are not that great and i see him as being just as good as Lichaj. Also Ariyibi looks like he could be a nice talent going forward. I would also like to say it looks like the Bundesliga and championship is a nice landing spot for young americans.

Sounds like Shea has been heavily involved. Sending in crosses and getting a couple shots off.

Ariyibi on at halftime. Leeds down 2-1 to Blcakburn.

Shea is still on. From reading it sounds like Shea was pretty good in that first half. Barnsley is unlucky to be down a goal. Barnsley is down 1-0.

Holmes still on the bench to start the second half. Huddersfield is losing 2-1.

Lichaj still on. Williams still on for Reading. Forest beating Reading 1-0.

Whitbread still on the bench for Derby County.
