should be a good thing. He'l go from always being one of, if not number 1, best skilled guys on his side to just another guy. Should very early on see if he has the determination and desire to succeed or if he's another over hyped prima donna. Will be good to see regardless of which direction it ends up

His 18th birthday is march 27. Schalke cant technically announce the signing until then because of Fifa Regulations regarding players under 18.

Right. I actually just read that a verbal deal has been made (and accepted I guess), so I assume pen to paper will take place next month on the 27th.

in terms of potential, ceiling and where they are at right now, how do you guys rate Haji vs the others in this age group? Obviously behind Pulisic.

My only issue with Wright is how disinterested he became playing with the U17's. The kid has talent, but it does seem he has a bit of Adu syndrome. Hopefully Schalke will be a good move for him.

There were many Cosmo fans who said the same thing about him like he had a bit of I am better than this attitude instead of putting his head down and playing hard.

Well if that's the case, Germans don't play around with that aspect of life. Look how green has been handled to see talent isn't the only thing Germans worry about. If Haji doesn't learn discipline he just won't play.

This and it's especially true in Gelsenkirchen. Gelsenkirchen is a blue collar city with high unemployment which is why fans of the opposition have songs about how Schalke fans are Arbeitslose.

Anyway, Schalke fans fully support their team but the fans expect results and don't mess around. Schalke is to Gelsenkirchen what the Red Wings are to Detroit, only unlike in Detroit they're the only show in town.

If he keeps up playing at a high Level won't be surprised if he see's first team minutes next season although i believe he would need to be 18 in order to play first team soccer since he doesn't have a Euro Passport like Pulisic.

He is 18. Schalke had to wait until he turned 18 to officially sign him.

Haji can be really good but what worries me is that attitude and seeing his performance at the U17 was pathetic. Germans will shape him up or he will be back here in MLS in a few years.

Scored a 2nd half brace for the Schalke u19 team. Now has 6 goals in 7 games. Wonder if we see him with the senior team later in the season?

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
