Isn't Raúl- the ex-Madrid star a part of the cosmos setup? Haji could learn a thing or two.

Wow. He was an LAG HG player. My guess it's a contract until he turns 18, and then he will bounce to Europe. Usually MLS wants long term contracts from the young players.

So MLS wouldn't sign him for 1 year because they only do long term contracts? Hmm.. Or maybe he isn't as good as we think he is. Perhaps supported by his recent play.

MLS doesn't sign short term deals.

LAG tried to sign him last year. Bruce Arena was raving about him. So yes he is "good enough".

I'm personally not too keen on him. I think against pro competition his strengths will break down. Hope I'm wrong though.

I personally think he is to young to say he will succeed or fail. I think I will wait to reserve that judgement until he is in his early twenties.

Yeah well we all like our predictions. I'll reserve strong judgement until then.

He's more likely to see playing time with the Cosmos and it gives me a reason to sort of keep tabs on them.

Also hope its a 1 year deal so he get some PT against grown men, get his physical game up. Then move to Europe.

Reserve judgement!?! What the hell are you doing on this site? Don't know enough about Haji to comment, but I will anyway. Seems like another one of those youth players that gets by on his size and early growth.

Good to hear it. He needs high level training to break down and develop his touch and ball control under pressure. The head down "touch it by the defender and recover it speed move" to relieve pressure will not get it done. Wish him well...

Yea he really looked awful... was so odd to see him look so indifferent the whole time he was out there.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
