On paper yes. But wel have to wait to see them on the field. What if this team doesn't qualify to the wc in 15 ? is never a guarantee.

OK, how many times do we have to go over this. . . At the youth levels team results don't matter, it's all about individual player development. Hence, the excitement.

Hope he finds a new club. He could really be a nice part of the U20 team.

Yeah hope he does too. Thought it was weird Leeds released him considering he had great reviews from the matches he played in. Pretty sure this kid is just as good if not better than jimmy kebe...

Hopefully he lands on his feet in a situation where he can get minutes whether in the championship or a lower euorpean league (Belgium, Austrian, Danish)

I knew this was going to be bad news once I saw his name in the forum

Hopefully he lands himself with a new team or possibly think about coming to Major League Soccer!

what u say is true

but the more recognition/success a youth team has...the more likelihood better offers for the players...so...even though results are not the be all end all...not qualifying for major tourneys is a huge blow to the development of a given group....

the players need the euro offers. they need exposure to get the euro offers.

Offers from top teams in Europe are better than anything they could get offered at home...specially in terms of long term development.

Signed a 1 year contract at Chesterfield fc in league one of England. He was offered a deal at Burnley but turned it down to find a club where he would get first team football.
