Terrific reviews for him today once he got onto the pitch (HT sub):

Some twitter comments following the match:

Young lad Ariyibi made all the difference

So this Ariyibi chap has done more in 5 mins than the rest of the team in 45

What a difference Gboly Ariyibi has made to the side. Rovers are struggling to deal with him on the left. Catalyst.

Gboly Ariyibi must be first team selection every game, hes mincing blackburn with his speed

Sounds like he definitely needs to get a call in with the U20 team.

Yeah, him and 20 other attacking players that everyone is high on. There just isn't room for everybody. Which is a real sign that we're progressing as a soccer nation. In the next decade or so, we will have players playing in the top leagues in the world who likely won't ever be called in to the USMNT, simply because of the depth of talent. Great problem to have.

Yeah no way Ramos can deny a player getting first team minutes, he would be dumb not to call him up. And gboly doing so well for is awesome news, they should extend his contract at least a couple of years.

Exactly, first team minutes in a good league make him stand out. There are not "that" many in the U-20 age group who are getting PT in a good league.

Yeah Tab Ramos doesn't lack attacking options. But since Ariyibi is actually playing first team soccer in the Championship; means he has priority over lets say a college player.

If he stays at Leeds then don't expect him to be released for the CONCACAF U-20 tournament.

Just think about this for the U-20's:

Ariyibi---Spencer----Arriola
----Gall----Hyndman--
------Cannouse---
Acosta--Amick--Miazga---Moore
------Steffen-----

Bench: Junior Flores, Lynden Gooch, Jordan Allen, Kanioa Bailey, Zach Pfeffer, Haberkorn, Rubio Rubin, Horvath, Sonora, Kriss Scott.

Yep the 2015 U-20's are going to be stacked.

Great first game reviews, just what you want to see when a player gets his first chance at a new club. Hopefully he keeps the momentum going, very intriguing player.

@2tone you forgot Delgado was captain of the team last camp. Can play CM/FB gunna be very integral to the team or at least the qualifying team. A lot of others like Moreno and Lopez will be important for that team too. This teams gunna be great and better than last cycles barring any major injuries to key players(ala Pelosi, Salgado, Packwood, Pineda)

More and more minutes each game. Have to wonder if he can break into the starting lineup soon. If not no worries hes only 18 about to turn 19. If he starts could he be a shock call up for march friendlies or be called up to train with the team. Him and holmes are intriguing young options for the future in the championship.

On paper yes. But wel have to wait to see them on the field. What if this team doesn't qualify to the wc in 15 ? is never a guarantee.

Of course. That's why I said "looks" good. There is no guarantee this team will be good but it's exciting to see such an abundance of individual talents coming up through the ranks.
