Very impressive highlight reel. Granted it's a highlight reel so it's suppose to be but the kid looks pretty good and at least deserves a look in a U20 camp.

Thing that impressed me most was his pace. Kid could absolutely fly with the ball at his feet. From what I watched however his main moved seem to be just pushing the ball past the defender and outrunning them. Not sure how effective that is at the next level (unless you're Bale vs. Maicon) however.

Also seemed to put in some nice balls and got his service off quickly.

Hopefully he gets chances at Leeds and continues to develop. Could definitely use a big, skillful winger on the USMNT.

Another article on gboly, goes into more depth.

Article also talks about kai koreniuk, kid I mentioned on here a few times, he is blazing at vitesse. Richie needs to give this kid a call. He is leading scorer for u17s at vitesse and wants to get called up by US.

A lot of American youth over in European academies.

That's a very good sign. To have talented youth here in the states and over in Europe as well.

Kyle Scott- Chelsea
Kris Scott- Swansea
Aribiyi- Leeds
Lynden Gooch- Sunderland
Cropper- Southhampton
Thompson- Wigan
Hyndman- Fulham
De La Torre- Fulham
Albelo- Kaiserslautern
Cannouse- Hoffenheim
Flores- Borussia Dortmund
Green- Bayern Munich
Rodriguez- Monchengladbach
Bailey- Bayer Leverkusen
Gall- FC Lorient
Spencer- Molde
Horvath- Molde
Rubin- Utrecht
Koreniuk- Vitesse
Amir Sejdic- Vitesse
Lederman-La Masia, Barcelona
Pynadath- Real Madrid
Barbir- Manchester City
Perez- Fiorentina

I am sure there are more I missed, but this is a pretty long list I would say. Hopefully most of these kids pan out.

People need to chill. Highlight reels are just that they highlight his strengths.

If he plays consistently and well with Leeds then there might be something to talk about, but until then, I wouldn't get too excited about him.

And it's ridiculous to say he needs to be on the USMNT when he hasn't played one minute of first team soccer for any team.

Same thing was said for Julian Green. People have to calm down yes these players have the potential to be better but they have to be consistent.

Ahhhh this is Gregory. OK yeah I wondered if Gregory and Gboly were related but they're the same kid. Good luck to him. Guess Bolton didnt work out.

Per lufc twitter account: "Brian McD also says Gboly Ariyibi is a contender for the bench, but could miss out through injury."

Yeah I heard he would probably get first team chances, because of Leeds lack of wingers.

I hope he gets playing time before the transfer window because Leeds are already looking to pick up more wingers in the transfer window.

That just means that is he going to have to really compete for his place. And if he has the talent then I am sure he will prevail and see minutes.

Well, that was a waste of time!

Horrible game, reminded me of a bad MLS game.

I think ill stick with social media next time to see if ARIYIBI gets on the field.
