Good list you have there. But out of all those players how many will have a real impact with the mnt ? Id say around 5. Which is pretty good im talking about a Bradley, jozy, howard, type of impact player.

Hard to say exactly. I would put it around 10.

Bailey has a tough path as a CM. This U20 team is loaded there with Canouse & Hyndman as locks.

What. I always thought Bailey was a winger/FW didn't know he was a CM. Well then yes he will have a tough time cracking this squad

I am going to add two more names to the Attackers list:

Kevin Hoyos: who is scoring and playing well for Estudiantes reserve team.

Jerome Keisewetter: Who is scoring and playing well for Hertha Berlin II. He is on loan from Stuttgart.

Who do want to see called up to Vasquez' first U-23 roster? I read that they will be hitting the U-23 scene hard after the WC this summer.

Here is a possible roster:

GK: Horvath, Castano, Cropper

Defense: Yedlin, Acosta, Zimmerman, O'Neil, Brooks, Dean(LB/ LCB), Ocegueda,, Jordan Allen, Eric Miller

CM's: Guido, Stanko, Joya, Trapp, Pelosi, Lopez, Sonora

Attackers: Salgado, McBean, Arriola, Villarreal, Gil, Rodriguez, Keisewetter, Koroma, Holmes, Flores, Salazar, Bijev( just invite him to train at least, maybe he will make the one-time switch back to the US)

They will have to hold a U-23 camp in order not to conflict with any U-20 camps.

It's a good thing that we're preparing for the olympics way ahead of time, we don't to repeat what happened like last year. Porter was a good coach but he came in way too late.

I'm not sold on Salazar tbh. Has barely played during all of Dynamo's preseason.. but hopefully he goes on loan or something. Same with Koroma unless he stays in Brazil with Fluminense.

Serna, Garcia, and Okoli will be there. Will get a lot of minutes this season. And to a lesser extent maybe Pineda, Top, and Hernandez. Not sure if any of the current u20's will get a call up before there WC unless there name is Arriola/Green*/Parker*(fits in Greens category).

Klute is 22. So he isn't a U-23 player.

I watched a slightly weakened u23 team beat Mexico 2-0 in '012, it's hard to believe that they didn't make it.

Talent isn't the problem anymore, so that's good. Complacency is a killer though.

I think the US u-21 camp is starting this coming april. Also, EPB has been called up for the US u-20's competing in the dallas pepper cup.
