I know this topic has been covered on another thread but couldn't find it. YA is filled with so many threads that is becoming difficult to find a certain thread/topic.
Anyways This young player has been playing extremely well for Toluca had an amazing goal vs America today in the playoffs. He is from san jose CA, and i believe he is not cap tied to mexico yet. He recently stated he would be interested in USA if the opportunity came. He is an attacking midfielder and could be the perfect pairing for Bradley. Currently i think he is better than Nagbe, and has a lot to offer. He is a creative midfielder, only 23 yrs old and has tons of potential. I have a feeling Mexico will definitely call him on their next upcoming friendlies.

Checked his wiki it states he is still eligible to play for USA, i don't remember him playing in the gold cup. Im not sure but if he is eligible, my god klissman had to call this dude asap. He could be the game changer usa needs. He is wayyyyyy better than Torres, corona, Mix. I know he has 3 caps with mexico tho.

I'd take Nagbe

Nagbe is not eligible yet. If he gets a lucrative offer from Europe and leaves, goodbye citizenship. doesn't he has to live in USA around 20 months or so to get his citizenship ?

If he goes then goodbye world cup to him. Pretty sure world cup is every players ultimate dream. Even he knows and feels the same.

If you've ever heard Nagbe speak on this, you'd know American citizenship is extremely important to him and his family. It's the whole reason he moved the USA. He wants citizenship for both soccer reasons and life reasons.

He'll play for the USMNT one day.

Out of curiosity when does his contract with the Timbers expire? I think he's eligible to apply for citizenship in Sept or Oct of 2015 so two more MLS seasons gets the job done.

Nagbe has stated multiple times that he wants USA citizenship. He isn't going anywhere until he becomes a citizen.

Don't be surprised if Nagbe is made a DP for Portland in the next year as well.

Conor O'Brien could finally make his Austrian debut for Wiener Neustadt on Saturday.
