I would like to see: Yedlin, Klute, Gil, Zardes(one my dark horses to make the WC team), Rowe, Diskerud, Feilhaber, Sapong, and the usual suspects.

Hopefully Klinsmann brings in around 30 players.

Really think Zardes has the talent to really go at players at the WC. Speed, size, decent crosser, and dribbling ability.

Definitely Yedlin. I'd also like to see Matt Hedges, George John, and some of the other MLS CBs because while Goodson was serviceable in the Gold Cup, I think we have better options out there. Also does anyone know Packwood's status? I'd like to see him too if he's healthy.

Have there been any rumors on our competition for the January game in Sao Paolo? Sorry, I've been disconnected for the past few weeks.

Brazil makes sense to me as the Brasileirao is over and its a non FIFA day, it would give Brazil the chance to assess domestic prospects.

My money is on Luis Gil and or Klute. I would rather have Beas, Fabian & Klute on the roster at Castillo's expense.

Also, I wouldn't count out Magic Mike aka Mike Magee either. He's obviously behind the 8-ball at FWD, but if EJ doesn't find the ideal club situation this offseason/continue replicating the form he displayed with Seattle, Mike could leapfrog EJ on the depth chart if he has a good January camp and perhaps earns an invite onto US roster for the final FIFA date.

Packwood is starting for Bristol Rovers at CB on loan from Birmingham. His loan was recently extended and he is starting every match. League 2 in England, aka 4th division.

I would LOVE to see Magee get a call up. Guy has worked so hard, he deserves it. Problem is, we all know JK has such loyalties to players, I doubt he would bring Magee to Brazil over EJ, even though Magee arguably deserves the call more right now.

He really does deserve call-ups. He might be the new Lichaj. But like I said, hopefully he uses January as a springboard. All he does is sore goals, and you can never have too many players like that on a WC squad

Findley and Chris Schuler both just underwent surgery which means both are not getting called up for the January camp.

Scratch those two names off.

Ah Freddy Adu. A cautionary tale of skating by on talent alone. And the fact that his youth coaches including the US youth coaches let him get away with it damaged him as a player. A coach needs to know when to be a hardass even to the players that are extremely talented.
