I'm missing the game! How is he so far?

Overall, I thought he played well. He was assertive for the most part, except for the one instance where he got caught on an in-between ball with Paulinho. He looked very shaky but was caught in an awkward position. Nonetheless, Shawcross came over to cover and all was ok.

He was also proactive in defending passes along the 18.

That was what I saw in the first half. I didn't watch the second half, so if anybody has some input...

This Stoke-Liverpool game has been nuts. Cameron has been good. Pushing forward into the attack especially.

And Sturridge scores. 5-3

There still exists people who think Evans should start over him.

LOL thats sad. Cameron deserved to be rewarded for not only playing RB so well but because he has pushed himself so hard that he starts for Stoke every week. He is pushing himself while Evans is in MLS. Now theres nothing wrong with that for Evans But you always wanna award the Euro players for their extreme hard work. We should always put pressure on our MLS players to get out of their comfort zone.

Sounds a little dismissive of MLS. Cameron is the clear #1 because he is a better RB period.

Jurgen starts Evans (RB) at WC, my prediction.

It does sound but JK has always stated the importance of challenging yourself in Europe. He is only going to get that if he rewards players for doing that. Not only that but yes Caremon is the best RB option atm. Its only meant to follow the JK philosophy now he get the last word.

JK is a hypocrite, his words don't really mean all that much as far as predicting his behavior. If history is any guide.

Brad Evans quote 2 days ago: "Then you look at Geoff Cameron having a great year at right back - he did well in the Austria game as well - so, those are always things that are going to be in the back of your mind, but you got to do what you do and try to do it to the best of your abilities."

Even Brad sees it.

Cameron held down Hazard vs the smurfs and that kid having a great season with Chelsea. Far ways to go still but i wouldn't mind have him starting in the wc.

Im sure cameron will be on the bench come Brazil. Klissman will most likely start Evans.

Good win for Cameron and Stoke as they keep a clean sheet against an Arsenal team.

Evans won't be starting at the WC. Hell I would put it at a 60 percent chance that he isn't even on the 23. I would pick Parkhurst over him if it came down to those two.

Yeah you can't justify it anymore. Cameron is here doing exceptional work for Stoke.
