Guys Evans doesn't cross at all. Chandler and Lichaj are injured/won't make it, Yedlin is too green. Who cares if Cameron's crossing is poor/off. There is no better option.

Sorry, what was that? Cameron with a goal?

You all have such short memories. He has one mistake in the game today, and you are all ready to off his head. He has been far and away the best American abroad this season. Calm down about one tiny mistake.

Rough first half, but in the second he was very very good both defensively and offensively, he even got on the score sheet!

After yet another poor Cameron cross that the 6 foot 9 Peter Crouch couldnt even reach, Crouch stood with his hands in the air wondering why Cameron is playing RB. I will stick with this until the World Cup, he should be a CB because his crossing is poor, especially considering how important and critical our few scoring chances will be, Cameron should NOT be the USMNT starting RB, rather, he should play CB.
Hm Crouch didn't seem to unhappy during Cameron's goal celebration! All strikers get upset if the ball is perfect when passed to them! Yes he had a few bad crosses but if crossing the ball is the most important issue for a rb or lb to you then you need to learn the purpose of a defender! He is far and away the best rb option.

Soccer fans in general have short memories. To quote Eddie Murphy, it's all "what have you done for me lately?" I thought he was tremendous in the 2nd half so hopefully that will quiet the doubters.

Lol. More fans getting carried away. Besides Cameron's early mistake, he acquitted himself quite well. Thought his crossing was a tad off, but he defended quite well after that first mistake, and then scored a goal from a movement that he started.

On another note, Fabian Johnson is looking really good as a RB. 2 assists today, and his 2nd assist was on the game winning goal against Leverkusen.

Outside back seems to becoming less of a problem for the USMNT. Should be interesting to see what happens if Chandler gets fully healthy.

Agreed. Here we were, thinking that outside backs were going to be our biggest issue. I would say with full confidence that center back is our biggest issue heading into June.

I don't know my biggest worry is the wingers/attacking middies. Zusi and Bedoya are good players, but not great, and both prefer to play in the center. Donovan has lost a step, but is still very capable, but after that there is not many options. Fabian I like more as an outside back. Brad Davis while intelligent and has a great left foot, is slow as hell. Julian Green while seems to have talent is pretty much unproven.

I am not that worried about the CB's especially with MB 90 controlling the center of midfield. Actually I will say that if Bradley goes down injured the USMNT could fold. Bradley is the glue for this team.

Cameron is good with Stoke. Glad he found his calling with them.

Also its crazy how versatile FJ is. Wish I had watched the game.

I trust our CBS more that our outside backs. Is their fault mistakes happen in the middle cause they keep constantly getting burned. We need a good rb maybe Fabian moves there if green is the real deal. And who cares if you score a goal it doesnt take away what mistakes you did. Pubj wait dint gonzo score vs juventus yes so he should automatically be a top 3 players for USA. Typical American fans mentality.

Since we are thin at LB/RB and unsettled at our CB's, I would like to "see"

--- Garza --- Gonzalez -- Cameron -- F Johnson

Not a fan of beasley or evans at all, yedlin is not ready, not interested in Cameron at RB.

I was impressed by Garza's technical and crossing ability.... or can we just get another dual national LB Jeremy Toljan please !! haha

2018 cant come any faster for our young fullback options. After this cycle we will be fluxed with options at LB and RB that are attack minded.
Klute, Garza, Yedlin, Farrell Top young talent not to mention the ones that will rise come Russia 2018 WC. Not to mention we still have Fabian Johnson and Chandler as solid options.

Could not for the life of me tell you what that jibberish could possibly mean. Do you read what you type before you post?

Also, calm down with the rhetoric (big word for you, I know). Never did I say that because Cameron scored a goal today, he is the savior for US men's soccer. If I did, please, find that quote. I was commenting on the fact that he had one mistake that led to a goal, and people (like yourself) were throwing him to the wolves. He then goes on to have a great second half, including scoring a goal. EGG ON YOUR FACE.

He made one mistake today. Get over it. Geoff has consistently shown that he is a top 5 American soccer player in the world this season. And I would love to debate anyone who would disagree with that statement.

Also gotta give love for my biggest fan. And wow top Cameron ? Amazing all these yrs at Houston no one noticed him and hek has the same exact game. Dammmm bandwagon American fans. I will bet anything if powere or trapp started for any epl team USA fans will say he is a top 3 player or something, even though he is playing the exact game as he did in MLS. Some people are DILUSIONAL.
