Hmm, don't know. He has been injured since last spring. Talented kid, but there are quite a few talented young RB's coming through the USMNT ranks in the next few years i.e. Yedlin, Farrell, Acosta, Shaq Moore. Don't know if he is quite on the radar like he once was.

Also from what I gather he is a bit more inclined to stay in the Welsh set-up. He would have to file a one-time switch to play for the US.

It's not that we don't have LB or RB options. The difficulty is that because of injury, lack of commitment, poor run of form, or JK's issues, we've not gotten the most out of the options we do have.
LB - F. Johnson, Beasley, Lichaj, Chandler, Castillo, Spector
RB - Churundolo, Cameron/Chandler/Lichaj, Evans, F. Johnson, Orozco, Spector

In the next cycle we'll have other options to hopefully step up....
Yedlin, Farrell, Acosta, Sarkodi, and others yet to commit to the US or make a name for themselves at the club level (Pelosi, Parker, etc...)

Henley would be an avarage player in mls. Dont see a future for him in the mnt. He should stick to norway where he will have a better chance. Same goes for shane oneil he should choose ireland.

Adam Henley is Welsh-American. He has already played for Wales at the youth level and is provisionally tied to them. I don't think he is eligible for England.

Are you sure he isn't eligible for England. I thought I read something saying he would choose between England and US. I know he played for wales youth but I didn't think he had to file a one time switch.

Yep he is tied to Wales at the youth level. Played in the U-16 UEFA qualifying games.

He may be eligible for England, but I don't think England has him on their radar at all.

Another fine example of why you can just scan a thread to read 2tone's post and ignore everything else.

So Adam Henley started today and went the full 90 with our lack of depth at RB or LB maybe its time to take a look at this guy. I know he has to file a one time switch but still worth a look. Hes better then evans
