I just simulated the best WC groups for just about every single country, with one traditional Group of Death. USA gets a great draw...

Group A. Brazil Australia Ivory Coast Croatia

Group B. Uruguay USA Algeria England

Group C. Germany Iran Ecuador Netherlands

Group D. Belgium Mexico Cameroon Portugal

Group E. Switzerland South Korea Ghana Greece

Group F. Spain Costa Rica Chile Bosnia-Herzegovina

Group G. Argentina Japan France Italy (Group of Death)

Group H. Colombia Honduras Nigeria Russia

Never said that it was easier to qualify out of EUFA than out of CONCACAF; it isn't. I was merely pointing out that you shouldn't overstate the strength of an English team who, in recent history, has done very little in major tournaments, simply because they won A UEFA group. Is England good? Yes. Is EUFA much stronger than CONCACAF? Certainly. Is winning a group that included such powerhouses as Poland, Moldova, and San Marino THAT impressive? Meh

Agree. My comment was not directed at you.
