Well that's good to hear. I don't know much about the pedigree of youth academies in England so it's good to know the drop in level of play wasn't too far if even at all.

Spurs most definitely are NOT on par with Arsenal, not saying Spurs academy is trash but it isn't elite in England. Crewe Alexandra, Southampton, Leeds, West Ham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton, and both Manchesters (City has come on late the past 5 years but they've been pouring in money into youth setup) are the elite academies.

Isn't Palace's youth system pretty highly regarded? I know they've produce some talent as of late. (Zaha and Moses)

Go home. You're drunk.

USA will have an impressive player pool in the near future. Hopefully 11 of these squirts turn out to be world class players.
If you don't love it, leave it, USA #1

I think a realistic expectation is 10%. Thats why its important at the youth level to have strength in numbers. If we can start producing 20-30 real high talent prospects every half cycle (ie every youth cycle). In 2-3 cycles we will be where we all want to be. That would be 2-4 new young uber talented players every cycle. I dont think you can expect more than that. And if we get more than that we can call it a golden generation (see Belgium)

Spurs academy is a little step down as I said before, I wouldn't say a step down in play just a step down from the quality of players and status. Hope Cash shows well and has a long career at spurs, should get a call in April for u17s if there is a camp.

Admsghs is being delusional as usual... Nonsense.

It's a good one, they are close to getting Category 1 in the EPPP. They would be in the high 3rd tier getting close to the second tier of academies. The second tier would
be Tottenham, Villa, Stoke, Sunderland, Bolton, Blackburn, Fulham, Leicester, Middlesbrough, Norwich, and Reading.

More than a little. It's not a step down as far as games as they all play in the same U21 league. The difference is the quality of coaching, player development, quality of players, and quantity of quality players.
