Him turning down Utrecht and Werder Bremen was very stupid. Hes 21. Not playing in England at 21 isnt the end all be all.

A guess here but i think everyone is frustrated with Juan because he has the talent to be a very excellent player. Technical and strong on the ball and can win headers. The thing is he is just somewhere in Europe doing nothing.
Juan is the type of striker that can fit in any formation whether he is alone as a target or paired up

Just go somewhere Juan. EPL isnt the pinnacle or end all be all. Germany or Holland would do wonders for his talents. Take a pay cut and work from there if you have to. Thats the two step back one step forward.

Really? And what happens if Juan still goes with Cyprus property route and does something ridiculous like try to play in Serbian League? Still not worth calling him out for overt stupidity?

Why call him out on it? Do random people, you don't know, call you out on overt stupidity?

Why do fans think they have some type of right to start attacking players personally about he most minute of things?

Dude it's his life. He can do what he wants. He doesn't owe any of us a damn thing.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of one's happiness. Where have I heard those words before. Oh yeah the Declaration of Independence.

As a fan, it's not about being "owed" something. It's about wanting something. Fan outrage is just a way to put pressure on him to do what we want for our own pleasure of the sport and growth of US soccer. Of course it's selfish.

It doesn't necessarily need to be so...of course, it is selfish from the viewpoint of a fan wanting our team to do better, but you could just as easily be upset about all this if you're a Juan fan and you just want the best for him.

Anybody seen or heard anything on Juan? How sad that this kid appears to be pissing away his career. Since he left on a free transfer, do the Revs still hold his rights if he comes back to MLS? Here is the article:

I am pulling my hair out as I really would like to see this kid do well.

Good find! Still think Klinsmann should've called him into January camp.

Like how the article said he should've signed a DP contract with Orlando. I agree with Agudelo to Orlando, just not a DP contract.

Is he still getting paid by STOKE???

I think he is. I think that contract was actually official.

IF HE IS.....it only makes sense for him to Play for an equal or better deal!!!

How many People would work for less Money than they could get for not working??????

Anyone with a brain who realizes that being out of action for 6+ months is more detrimental to your ability to make $$ in soccer long term than a short term taking a worse deal. Anyone with maturity and a brain.

that was big Money from stoke compared to MLS Peanuts. not saying right or wrong...prbably wiser to take the lesser deal in Holland or Germany and Keep plugging....at the same time, im still not sure if he is getting paid by stoke.

like i said....if you are making 50k at your Job and somehow had the Chance to make 50k without working and go on a mutliple year vacation or take 35k somewhere else to Keep working...i doubt you would take the less Money for more work Scenario....especially after getting frozen out of the world Cup by JK despite doing well in europe pre-brazil.

if Juan was getting any type of love from JK...things might be different....let's not Forget, JKs lack of callups in the first place is a big reason he didnt get to Play for stoke in the first place.

People want the guy to do whats best for the usmnt...but the usmnt is pretty much treating him like dog doo.

Usually if players are snubbed or felt snubbed by not being called up you here something from them or their agent. All we hear are the crickets! Hey I like Juan and want him with the team but he's sort of a "where's Waldo?" If he was cleared to play then "where's Juan?"

As for getting paid by Stoke, I thought after second unsuccessful attempt for work permit the contract was rescinded?

"Juan Agudelo considering 1860 Munich offer"

I guarentee Juan is really pleased with himself and is still considering if he can somehow get more money or get a better club.

How he got himself into this situation should be a case study they go over in pysch classes.

265 days since Juan Agudelo's last competitive match.
