You can blame Arena for trading Magee for that stupid trade for none other than the " Great Robbie Rogers!" Lol the dude played in division 1 soccer! That's like taking friends to a park and pretending to be a professional player haha

Anyways Galaxy need to do dome serious overhauling! Glad RSL won, but sad NY lost..keep playing these intense games and maybe I'll be a full time fan of the MLS... But I will still remain a Euro fan FORZA BARCA! And Dortmund! Lol

Agreed about Landon. And to tag onto that. I just don't see where he fits in in a USMNT starting 11. He was never a winger, and now that he has lost a step, and rarely takes on players, I just don't see where he fits. To be honest I think Fabian is a better winger, and then you have Zusi and Bedoya who are both in very good form.

LOL awesome Barca fan! Same here. Anyways its funny because for me I was happy NY were gone but sad LA lost. Regardless Now both are done for their stupid mistakes. I still wonder if they really had to trade Magee. I mean cmon the guy saved their asses last few season how can you make such a move. I bet you magee gets the goal at the end that frankly missed. Trading a proven players vs a players that basically isnt proven... EXCELLENT.
Dortmund fan? Man must be tough losing to Arsenal. I saw that game and Dortmund should have raped Arsenal. Just like LA and RSL in first leg.

Not sure how this got to arsenal vs Dortmund but how should they have beat them? Both teams won on the road after the other team controlled the game so if u wanna say that then arsenal should have won the first game either way arsenal are where they should be atop the group

The TV ratings for the MLS Cup Final will be absolutely abysmal this year...

I've been saying this for a long while now. Landon's real asset was his pace and now that it is gone, he is not the same player. I don't see him being effective for a full 90. I could see him coming on as a sub and running at defenders with tired legs and hopefully coming up with some late game magic. But he's probably not a starter, which is scary. The thought of someone like Zusi starting for us against top teams gives me nightmares.

If MLS wants TV ratings, eventually they need to take on the superbowl approach for the MLS CUP

1. The host needs to play the game at the nearest NFL stadium or college stadium
2. Halftime show with a big celebrity

Agreed

I would release

Rogers (garbage)
juninho (did nothing this year)
Sarvas (old)
del la garza (sucks)
Mastroeni (old)
Courtois (old)

Drop academy players: stephens, hoffman

Hopefully Donovan and Gonzalez get bought.

Keep Keane and bring in 2 more DP's. Hopefully DP's go to 4 next year.

I've NEVER understood why coaches like Arena and JK thought Rogers was a good player. Blazing speed but offers NOTHING else. If he could provide accurate crossing from the wings then maybe that could make up for his lack of skill, but he doesn't even have that. A total mystery. Not shocking that when he went to England he got schooled and rarely played.

Same reason people want Gatt and/or Shea. It goes with the old adage of you cant teach speed. A great full speed run makes impressive youtube videos

Yeah, but at the higher levels, speed without skill is virtually useless. Especially when the guy doesn't understand what kind of run he needs to make to exploit his speed.

I'm glad RSL won. Calling off Morales' goal was ridiculous.

thisguy2 - Yea i would hate losing to Arsenal like that. But to be honest I have nothing against Arsenal really. Actually have to admit Arsenal are playing well. What I really get annoyed with Arsenal is their fans. Not all of them but I see too much over hype in a small amount of time. Arsenal fans already think they won EPL or the signing of ozil is just crazy lol ozil is the savior of Arsenal, kinda remind me of mexican fans over hyping mexico. Regardless Arsenal are a great team they just have to keep doing what they are doing well and they are on their way to breaking their 8 years of pain.

blaise213 - Thats terrible. No way will MLS ever be respected if they get those sort of changes.

MSantoine - You can't really be comparing Shea and Rodgers? I mean Rodgers hasnt done much for USMNT and galaxy. I mean theres a reason why shea was bought by and EPL team while rodgers was bough by Leeds United. I mean sheas flair is effective in international level heck he was one of the reason we won in azteca and he can make crosses. The thing with shea is that injury and leading to inconsistency. Now if he goes on loan to a division 2 and struggle than i will stand corrected. Now may be lacking info as too why shea is not breaking into stoke line up. Not good enough? hmmmm...

skangles - Yeahhh LA were just unbearable to watch missing chance after chance in the first leg. Even with that call by the ref LA lost.

Absolutely agree with that list. Add dunivant there to. Juninho is 50/50. But Galaxy to need major changes. I give keane 1 more yr. Would love to see gonzo paired with bocanegra or gooch if he comes.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
