Kevin Hoyos would like to come to MLS, and I think the ideal club for him would be DC United. With DC declining the options on Pajoy and DeRo, DC will be lacking some attacking depth next season.

They do have the option to pick up Doyle's contract, but after that DC is lacking FWDS.

Hoyos is athletic, skillful, and can play as a target striker, as the second striker in a two striker set-up, and he can play as a winger.

Ben Olson and DC should really look into signing Hoyos.

Plus he wants back into the US setup. Good way to do that is playing and impressing in MLS.

Never seen him play but at age 20 he is sure to prosper. How good is he really I mean Playing in Honduras League isnt really that huge. Strange no one has contacted him even though he seems like a good player

He has 7 goals in a month and half. He was loaned to Victoria in Honduras half way through the season, and he is 3 goals off of the golden boot lead. Victoria is 5 points off of the lead.

I would take Hoyos over any attacking college player that will be headed to the superdraft that's for sure.

What about FCD? We'll have plenty of cash to splash in the off-season with the Brek Shea money and the stadium deal dough, I expect to see at least one big signing for us (aside from the new manager).

Bring in Hoyos and maybe a loan move for Seb Lleget and I'd be ecstatic!

Zelaya is a great player, but didn't he and a bunch of other salvadoran players get convicted of match fixing?!?

I think he was accused but didn't get convicted

I think he would bring in a lot of fans.

Considering the fact that he's American, I don't get why he went to Honduras instead of the MLS (which is a better league).

I'm thrilled to see anyone from the Argentine youth system play in the MLS, and the fact that he is one of the only Americans to ever have done so makes him a slam dunk. He's got to come.

He got suspsnded for a year. But nothing serious besides that. He would be eligible next year tho. If dc signs him they will have the 2nd highest attendance in mls. Around 30k, he will pull a huge fan base. Pretty much any team, houston, philly, new york, LA, chicago, dallas. But dc will be the best choice.

Fun fact: Bryan Gerzicich came through the Arsenal de Sarandi system and played for their first team in the Primera before moving to Israel. He has been the best defensive midfielder in Israel for many years.

He was sniffing around MLS over the summer but couldn't find any takers. He eventually signed for with Hapoel Tel Aviv for money that would have been at DP levels in MLS.

I'd like to see him in New England. Agudelos leaving in the winter, there are rumors Sene may be off to France (hopefully not), Bengston seems almost certain to leave (hopefully), who knows what's up with Charlie Davies, and Barrett and Imbongo are alright but were going to have to bring in some forwards. Plus we could add him to one of the best young teams in MLS with Fagundez, Rowe, Farrell and Caldwell.

Yeah Arsenal is from the same neighborhood as my favorite team. I've heard Gerzicich is a great player and I have absolutely no idea why there weren't any MLS teams that wanted him. He's really smart for deciding to go through the Argentine youth system because it's as good as any in the world (IMO better than all except for maybe Spain and Germany). I wish more Americans would go down there because it's one of the best places in the world to develop as a player. I'd love to have more guys like Gerzicich in the MLS and the fact that no one wanted him makes me question the ability of some of these scouts.
