Who gets it?

Yedlin, Brown, Farrell, Powers, Teibert, or other?

I'd vote for Powers

Id vote for Farrell. He helped change the culture and the huge turnaround. Stepped in day 1 and fit right in

yeah.. my bad. Teibert is out

Zardes showed well at times but I don't think he's close to any of the others.

I'd go with

1) Powers
2) Brown
3) Yedlin
4) Farrell
5) Trapp

teibert is not a rookie

thats a tough call. any of those guys would be worthy.

i think id have to go with brown. scored twice as many goals as any of his teammates and chipped in with 4 assists. that is just really impressive production from a rookie.

powers a close 2nd - those 2 guys basically carried rapids offensively throughout the season

lots of credit to farrell, yedlin and zardes as well. klute basically a rookie (1 game last year) was fantastic

think id say oneill if he hadnt played 4 minutes last season. if he is not eligible, that is kind of lame

really great year for MLS rookies/almost rookies

Really is a shame that FCD turned into a simpering pile of jelly halfway through the season, or Acosta would def. be in that mix.

4 goals and 4 assists while being out until mid- May, and playing mainly and learning a new position as a winger. I think Zardes had a productive rookie season.

Powers had what 5 goals and 6 assists.

Brown 10 goals and 4 assists.

Zardes was right there with the offensive rookies. IMO he is definitely one of the top 5 rookies. And I think he has the most potential in attack in the coming years. Still a lot of growth for him, but his future is very bright.

The next test for the Dooley-led revitalization of the Philippine national team kicks off soon.
