All these lists and only one person recognizes the genius of Pirlo...well done rain.

Personally, too much emphasis is placed on goal scorers and quite frankly most of the folks on these lists benefit from playing on well stocked teams. I think the true test is if you put a great player with mediocre talent around him does he make the team that much better. So with that in mind my list would be:

Messi
Ronaldo
Bale
Ozil
Pirlo
Neymar
Rooney
Bentenke
Iniesta
Oscar

really Benteke lmao i hope you were joking.. Not even top 30. Bale not top 20 hasn't done nothing for madrid, proves la liga is much tougher/better than epl, and ozil was an average player for Madrid now he is a star in the epl. Overrated epl. worse list ever, except for the top 2.

Im surprised no one has a defender/goalie in the top 10. I put Thiago silva from psg in the top 10. He is the best defender in the world in my opinion. Manuel Neur for me is top 15.

Ozil was an average player? I know you don't make the best statements on here but seriously?

Oh yeawhat a coinsidence bale was arguably epl player of the year now he is probably the worsecomer of the year in spain.. And ozil was an AVERAGE player for madird. And now he is looking like an epl player of the year. He iz clearly the best player in arsenal. And ozil was in and out of the line up. thats why i hate epl and think is extremly overrated because people make it seem that way.

Why isn't Clint Dempsey on anyone's list? 0 goals in 8 MLS games or whatever is stellar...

Well to Madrid obviously he was if not they would not of let him go. For me honestly he is a superstar. But for MADRID he was a good average player since they are stacked with starts.

Overrated epl. worse list ever, except for the top 2.

Hmmm, depends what you consider world class, is it only skill or do you also consider ones ability to work with a team? I wonder if given the choice between signing Bentenke or signing Zlatan, how many managers would prefer Zlatan? Would Zlatan have been able to score at the same rate as Bentenke in a crap Villa squad? Sure, he scores some spectacular goals, but Zlatan isn't really the greatest team player.

And Bale pretty much carried Spurs back into Europe. It is easy to become invisible in a Madrid team built to serve Ronaldo.

And if I may be critical, your grammar is crap...it should be WORST list ever.

First of all it is hasn't done anything. When you say "hasn't done nothing" you are using a double negative which actually means he has done something.

Second, was Ozil an average player for Germany? Methinks you are basing your opinion on highlight reels rather than match effectiveness. Also, Bale did not have a preseason to speak of and was injured for a bit...give him some time.

And as far as the EPL being overrated...yes it is. But IMHO the EPL is a much more balanced league top to bottom than La Liga or the Bundesliga.

And I will leave you with this question...why has Messi been unable to score against Chelsea?

AAHHHH YOU MAKE ME WANT TO PUNCH BABIES WHENEVER I READ YOUR POSTS.

Sure, maybe Benteke is not in the top 10. But these lists aren't definitive lists that will be etched in eternity. This is a message board where people post their opinions.

Also, it's called a keeper, not a goalie. But thanks for playing.
