Wow! I'd heard of our SO team and that they were pretty good...but putting 8 past a youth team of one of the best academy systems in the country is better than good, it's downright inspiring! I think it's a great idea to get the intellectually disabled into soccer, since it's a very nurturing environment to begin with...did a little digging and found this recent article about the Special Olympics/MLS partnership. A very worthwhile endeavor in my opinion so I wanted to make sure that all you fine people were made aware. Get out there and support your clubs!

Great to hear of the SO/MLS partnership. My son plays SO soccer...he'll be very excited to hear this...thank you.


I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
