cmon people - dont hate mix. why go there?

all i am saying is that going from norway to serie a or bundesliga is a pretty big leap. i honestly dont think it would be a wise move and i would be surprised if he (or anyone in norway) were able to make a smooth transition (meaning decent PT in the first few months)

good euro leagues for mix? denmark (not as good as MLS), austria (not as good as MLS unless playing europa), belgium, holland, maybe france

all of those would be at least a step up from norway and hopefully not put him in over his head

Bumping the thread as Mixx by default bumps up the USMNT pecking order.

Now firmly ahead of Sasha K, is Mixx possibly in line for Jermaine Jones' spot if Jones cant stay healty and return to form??

We all know that Bradley/Jones is the preferred pairing, but is it possible that Mixx jumps into the picture? If not, with Dempsey and Donovan in front of that in the CAM, where does he fit in?

To me, the best place is next to Bradley is the center of the park, using his running and passing ability.

I think a mixx bradley partnership could be tried out against ukraine. Although in my opinion a danny williams bradley paternship should also be tried during the game. Jones has been affected by injuries a lot recently I am concerned he might not last in the world cup especially 90 minutes in the humidity against portugal.

I think Klinsy and staff know Mix can't be used as one of the main two CM's so I'd prefer to see Williams as the 6 which would allow Bradley to do more going forward. Mix seems like back up for Dempsey under the forward more than a CM option at least as a starter, could see him as a second half sub if offensive spark was needed.

The problem with starting mixx next to Bradley is it forces Bradley to sit back at all times. Mixx can't be counted on to sit back and help defend or be the link between defense and cms it would force Bradley to just sit back instead of attacking which is one of his strong suits. I'd rather have mb paired with a defensive guy so he can attack rather than him be the defensive guy

He's praying Jones returns to health and form... Maybe he's looking to put Bradley at the 6, who knows what he is thinking?

In Ukraine, I sort of expect to see Danny Williams/Mixx (could have been Sasha if he was playing, although it still could be).

Its an alright move. It seems that the scottish league is slightly better then the tippenlagen although it is extremly top heavy. I thought he could have gone to a better league but it is what it is.

Considering he didnt play one minute in the world cup its a good move plus CL

I think the rumored transfer fee explains it all. 250k. Thats practically a free transfer. Barring injuries I doubt mixx ever becomes a regular starter for us. Gil is breathing down his neck already and with guys like oneil, dwill, Cameron as potential cdm mb will stay as the more forward cm until the youngsters are ready.

Yeah champions league is probably the biggest positive of the move. I hope he can stay in the starting 11 for celtic. It seemed with Rosenberg he was in and out of the lineup this year for them.

He couldn't start every game for Rosenberg. Celtic can win spl without trying. The weeks they gave UCL games mixx will probably play the league game and not the UCL game.
