Does anyone know if Mixx Diskerud's loan at Gent has expired yet and if not when it does? I read (through Google translate) a Norwegian article claiming he was training with fellow Norwegian outfit Sogndal (but just on "vacation"). I would hate for him to have to return to god-awful Stabaek. Also, is anyone else awhere of 19-year old, former US U-20, fellow Norwegian-American Erik Benjaminsen at Stabaek? I found an '09 YA article on him, but is not listed on their players list or regularly reported on any Americans Abroad articles (both on YA & other sites).

Erik Benjaminsen is still with Stabaek and has made 3 substitute apearances this season as well as making the bench for their 2 Europa League matches. As for Mix...I know that Gent was looking to buy him but I don't know if they ever made an offer.

They should buy him. It would be a good move by club and player.

Rosenborg? I guess it's an alright move for a short term deal but the guy has done all there is to do in Norway (won a title, played in Champions League qualifiers, etc)

I was just listening to the YA Pod and they were saying the same thing. I agree, but Im just glad to see him settle at someplace for now. Hopefully, this will help him attract eyes of a club out of Norway. I really want him back in the USMNT.

As far as the USMNT is concerned, for two players playing the same position, I'd take Conor O'Brien over Mix

Interesting article on Mix, I think a move to a bigger league would do good. Rating system was cool.

Have to agree on were they put MLS on that rating meter. Below, low-table EPL team.

Thanks I love reading these reports. I think Mix has been long due to at least try another tougher league it will only improve his game. Quality to be more.

Well Sunderland sure could use a player like Mix. That's all I have to say.

Those ratings are pretty cool i remember seeing a potential score of 42 for Michael Bradley a wile back, that's a legit start and close to Messi, Ronaldo lol. I was never a fan of rankings, and ratings I think their overrated.

He has the right attitude. Why look for a new club just before the World Cup? It'd be a risky move for a guy that's already in the NT picture.

I agree is sort of a gamble seeing that the WC is almost here he should wait after the WC maybe his stock will be higher. Playing at a high level in Europe on a descent or good team doesn't guarantee you Starting in the mnt 11, is how you play with the mnt. For example Aron, Cameron, Bedoya, Klesjtan, Chandler, Brooks, mix, ext.. could be on the bench for the wc. And their all playing good for their clubs. Mix has to stay to keep getting calls for the mnt, and if he performs great with the mnt im sure klissman will give him more opportunities, and might even find himself starting in a wc game.

Also heard Bob Bradley is in talks with a club in Norway. What if is Rosenberg, then it will benefit him even more to stay.

Yep, Edu and Parkhurst are two good examples of guys that dropped from the regular NT player pool after they moved to a top tier league.

Definitely a gamble to move in a WC year, but one that I think could be well worth the reward if he's able to move to a mid/low table club in one of the top 4 leagues (or a Championship club in England) and get an extra three months of playing time (the Tippeligaen season opens up at the end of March). If I had to choose, I'd rather see him in Liga BBVA or Serie A as I think the style of play in those two leagues would best suit his ability.

Bradley is in talks with Stabaek, not Rosenborg. But I agree, it would be beneficial if it was Rosenborg and Mix was able to play under him.
