I know our U 17 team yielded unfortunate results, but truth be told, they played some nice footie, and that kid, Mr. Sonora, was incredible. APB for information on Joel Sonora!!

Nice articel on Joel Sonora and Ryan Palmbaum, who are both playing in the Boca Juniors youth system.
Sonora with a banger of a goal for Talleres today. Would be great to see him start to really come good. Believe he is U23 age eligible. More attacking options is always a good thing.
It's a nice strike. But I'm more excited about current Boca youth player George Acosta. The Florida kid has some of the best vision for a pass an American has ever had. If he can make it to the top at Boca, a big IF... well we surely have something. I've always been convinced he can play.
Soñora isn't bad at all, just doesn't see the passes like young George Acosta does.

I'll take anyone that has a better first touch, through pass, long shot, dribble in a tight space than Roldan, Arriola or Trapp.
Miha has potential but needs to develop

I'm all for taking a look at this kid, but not sold that he'd be a large step forwards for the USMNT. To me he's another player who is on the fringe and should be looked at with the U-23 Olympic Qualifying team.
Senora, Parks, Scott and some of the kids who'll be at the U-20 WC should make for interesting options as they continue their development.
