well looks like this is the last week for teams to clinch a spot in the next round out of groups. A few already qualified but some are coming down to the last game. Looks like a Giant of concacaf might go down America is down a goal with about 10mins left.

Lol commentators are saying Herrera might get fired from America if they don't get trough.. looks like Azteca is not a hard place to play in anymore. Wouldn't that be something he just got hired a Mexico's head coach and might get fired in the coming hours if they lose to alajulense.

America lost to a CR team. They are out. This hugely increases the chances of a MLS team making it through this time. Hopefully San Jose pulls off the win and we get all 4 MLS teams into the knockout rounds

SKC has joined LA in the KO stages of the CCL. SJ can be the third MLS team to advance to the KO stages with a win today. Houston plays tomorrow.

Im rooting for a Houston draw. That way Galaxy get to play the Costa Rican team. If Houston wins they play Galaxy (knocking one MLS team) and at the same time giving Tijuana an easier opponent

I don't mind Houston being out Arabe Unido poses less of a threat for the likes of KC and LA if they were draw them in the quarter finals.

Wow Galaxy getting spanked so far if they lose by 4 or more they will play Xolos. If they lose by 3 goals or less they play Arabe Unido.

I can't believe how pedestrian LA look. I also have to say that Villarreal and McBean are turning into quite the mediocre players. Nothing really special about either of them.

Its going to be an all

MLS v. Liga MX QF.

LA v. Tijuana
SKC v. Cruz Azul
SJ v. Toluca.

I'd say the 4 best teams our LA, Tijana, SKC and Cruz Azul. Toluca will be tough as well but are beatable.

What the hell is this, Bruce Arena is giving these youngsters a chance to show themselves and they perform like this?!Even though these guys are reserves but loosing 4-0 is fucking embarrassing.

Reserves

I know but still. The reserves beat them 1-0 in LA.

They gotta step up. Only chance they get to impress the coach.

Whew that was bad.

I was sitting here watching the game thinking to myself, Bruce Arena told Arriola that he had no chance for first team minutes while I am watching these current players stink it up?

I am actually quite happy Arriola decided to go to Tijuana.

Some very good plot lines in that Tijuana V LA game. Especially the Arriola plot line.
