During the international break the new cycle of u20 players will join. This is an exciting and stacked group. Most of the players are in a professional setting which is good for the next u20 world cup and their development. The starting lineup they put is fantastic to see.

Here's a piece on them.

"Acosta is possible captain material." makes me happy, I can see him becoming a very Dolo type player.

So much talent in this cycle, we should do something special next WC. Lets hope Ramos doesn't screw it up.

Yep the 2015 U-20 cycle is loaded. Ramos could construct two "A" team rosters easily.

Really excited for the future of the USMNT with these youth players coming up.

AGreed, now its just hoping that they don't have untimely injuries, like Pelosi did for us.

The thing that is different about this pool is that even if someone as talented as Pelosi were to get severely injured (even though it is awful to lose a player with such talent and this isn't meant to push players like them aside), there are others that can fill the void and do so very well. The depth is clearly there. As 2tone said we could make 2 "A" teams, and then we STILL have players just on the outside of that with potential.

He is too old for 2015 sub 20wc.

Not at all surprised to see many talented kids its expected. the question now is to qualify, and go deep into the tournament.. Hopefully Ramos knows how to drive the team or if he doesn't succeed he will be in big trouble. Starting with this training camp in Italy he needs to get positive results.

I didn't notice his absence til the second read through, pretty scary if we're not calling him in.

If he plays in a qualifier at 19 he is eligible. So it depends on when he turns 20. I'll have to check it out.

Wiki has his Bday at Nov. 6th (a fellow Sagittarius) so he'll be turning 19 in a couple of weeks...sounds like he should be eligible.
