Nice goal by Bedoya. Is he a lock yet?

I'd never wish an injury on a USNT player but things would be much better if Beasley couldn't play.

First of all, we definitely need FJ instead of Beasley back there, or else we'll get torn to shreds.

And Bedoya is a better LM than FJ. I think he'd actually boss from there. Klinsmann has only made two major personnel mistakes, and this is one of them (the other is not trying Torres at CM, his position). Bedoya is a CAM or LM. He is not a good RM. He is best cutting in from the left. On the right, his only move is to run down the byline, and the service isn't that good. But Klinsmann keeps playing him on the right. Playing on the left or in the middle, he is much more able to utilize his skill, creativity, and finishing.

Jozy up top, with Bedoya left, Dempsey, Zusi right. Bradley, Jones. Beasley, Besler, Cameron, Johnson.

I agree with most of that XI. Replace Zusi with Lando, put Fabian on the left, and Chandler on the right.

Bedoya v Zusi v Fabian v Landon = possible best camp battle.

Here's hoping Alejandro does his best because this guy is not afraid to put one in the net against Ghana. Love this guy's attitude.

Yeah, all locks to go, not all locks to start. Not sure that's the BEST battle of the camp. Plenty of battles for CB. the mind battle between Lando & JK is probably my favorite. Good mind battle between Chandler and JK too.

And great battles for the few on the bubble for the 23 - Mix, Beckerman, 3rd striker, etc. Most of these battles are for more than just bench spots. I just don't see a lot of guys going 90 minutes all 3 games.

Bedoya on the left and Zusi on the right for Ghana. Ale loves to cut insidw he would perfectly suited to the left. I like having LD as a sub for the WC unless he absolutely kills it in the friendlies beforehand.

Actually, the battle I'm looking forward to the most is Lando's battle w/ the bulge. If we can't see his abs in Rio that does not bode well for the US. He's only 31, right? Hard to look at the fatass and think he's still got the drive.

Getting out of the group is all about tactics. We have serious matchup problems against competition in this group.
I see Donovan and Bedoya starting on the wings, with Bradley and Jones in the middle. Zuzi will get run over defending in the WC.
If Chandler impresses in camp, he's best available to start against this competition. I'd pencil in F Johnson on the other side.

I have Bedoya as a lock for the 23. I really want to see Agudelo over Wondo but is Jurgen's call tho. Who wouldn't like to see the Colombian Connection between Bedoya, Agudelo. Their both very good players.
