I wish we would have seen some of this for the national team last month.

Whew it's hard to watch this game. Horrible passing, first touch, and lack of awareness. Reminds me of a 2005 MLS game.

I can see why PSG is running away with the Ligue 1 title.

But, you know, Ibrahimovic rates France higher than England. Did any of you see where e was saying he would destroy the Premier League? He's a world class player and all, but for some reason I don't see England sides folding as easily as French defenses. Maybe I'm less educated on the league.

Boy did this transfer success change in a hurry. Bedoya now needs a strong World Cup in the worst way as Nantes will be a sinking ship. No way they survive relegation in 2014-2015 even if they survive this year. He'll need to either jump to MLS or hope another Ligue 1 team scoops him up. I was concerned with this move from the beginning and now it seems like they got caught cutting corners

What does anyone think about Bedoya playing RB for the USMNT.. I mean we are thinking about playing Beasley or Johnson out of position at LB, and either Cameron or Evans out of position at RB.... Somehow I think Beodya has the chops to play at RB, he's a little quicker than Cameron or Evans, and I respect his soccer intelligence. Just a thought - I was curious to see what anyone else thinks?

I wouldn't say Fabian is out of position. He has primarily played outside back for Hoffenheim.

I agree with this, my point though is all four of the players i mentioned grew up playing other positions as well. Fabian came up as AM if I am not mistaken and sort of has learned to play outside back. My teen years watching Beasley in Chicago he was nowhere near the backline ever. Cameron was a CM as best I can recall up until a year and a half ago, and Evans was just playing center midfield for Seattle the other night.

My point is really that JK doesn't prioritize this position as compared to others on the pitch, he wants offense, offense, offense.

So i take it that's a big NO for Bedoya then.

Bedoya has never played extensively at RB. He played RWB for what 20 minutes in one game for Nanets. I think he played for 15 minutes in one game for the USMNT, and he looked lost.
