Tough for Egypt...
Maybe Irish dont mind a Yank coaching them..

Keene came out and said they need to hire a tough as nails kind of coach. That fits BB to a tee. He also doesnt have to worry about a language barrier

Bosnia is 30' away from choking away there WC spot. If thy dont score soon they'll be in the playoff and most likely not be seeded meaning a tough draw

from The BBC:

A confirmed list then of the eight sides who will compete in next month's two-legged play-offs for four places at the finals.

The eight are:

Croatia, Sweden, Romania, Iceland, Portugal, Greece, Ukraine and France.

Not looking good for Iceland, but kudos to them for making it this far.

Not trying to be rude, but I hope Bob has some very good security personnel back in Egypt. Egyptian fans are probably going to be crazy after this loss.
.

That crossed my mind too. It's a really tough spot for Bob and his wife as he needs to be in Egypt for the next month.

How great would it be if our Group was US, Ghana, Iceland and a seed?

Exactly. They're a good team but definitely not one of the elite teams in the World.

Between Brazil, Spain, Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Switzerland plus two out of Colombia, Uruguay, Netherlands or Italy, you're absolutely right I want Switzerland.

The scariest part is that if Colombia and Uruguay both win tonight then we could be in a Group with the Netherlands or Italy + a seed. I think I'll route for Argentina tonight as the Netherlands is a team I want nothing to do with and if we have to face them they better be the seeded team (or in the knockout stages).

so we could technically see a group, at this point assuming a win from uruguay and Columbia.... nothing guaranteed in those games. but at the moment the dutch italians and english (over rated but still good) are all not seeded. So we could actually see a group such as Germany Italy USA Ghana? or Brazil Netherlands USA Ivory coast. But on the other hand we could see a group like Switzerland Greece USA Cameroon.....

Colombia is losing 1-0 and are down to 10 men. If Uruguay win, and the Netherlands get the second spot you could see a group like Brazil, Italy, Colombia, US. Ultimate Group of Death.
