You are, I'm just giving you a valid argument to the earlier statement.

I Just want to verify that valid arguments don't start with: "stop your nonsense."

JK has never stated that the U-20 players are not ready. He has stated when specifically asked about Yedlin and Gil that those two may not be ready. JK has already called up two 2013 U-20 player pool players i.e. Brooks and Cody Cropper.

JK has also stated that if a player is good enough to contribute to the USMNT it doesn't matter if that player is 18 or 32.

I will grant you that JK is kind of a stickler with the older German method of not playing players under 20, but I think Holmes may be in line to be called up in November. He is already in Europe, he is also getting first team minutes in a good league, and it's a European USMNT camp.

Also not calling up Holmes or Gil is not mutually exclusive. Just because Gil hasn't been called to a senior team doesn't mean Holmes won't be called up.

We aren't gonna see new guys in november. Klinsmann has his core group of players and a number of guys just outside the cut. He"ll stick with that because we are under a year away from the WC with not many camps and friendies left to work with. I highly doubt klinsmann brings in new players, unless some new guy is lighting it up in the Bundesliga of course.

Well u sure are dumb if u haven't fallowed a few players klissmnan has been calling... Parkhurst ? Shea? yup he calls on them and don't get playing time.. So i dont think Holmes and arriola are out of the picture.. These 2 players are much more valuable and actually play dude...

I'm not going to argue with someone who has no concept of grammar or spelling. Truly can't remember if you've ever spelled Klinsmann's name right.

I wouldnt put it past klinsmann to call up some younger players. Lets remember he has called up agudelo, wood, gyau, cropper all of them when they were young and hadnt yet turned 20 with limited european minutes for gyau, wood, and cropper. Plus brooks is 20 and hamid, boyd, morales, corona, shea, gatt, mcinerney, bruin, chandler were all called up when they were around the age of 20-22. I feel juergen has been pretty fair with calling up players who are under 20 along with also calling up players around the age of 20. Also lets not forget juergen has expressed intrest in calling up dual nationals Julian Green who is 18 years old and shawn parker who is 20 years old. I would say juegen has done a fair job of giving young players a chance. My guess is holmes will end up getting called up whether it is in november or in march he will be called up very soon if he continues getting minutes for huddersfield. Gil will probably be called up in january camp along with O'Neill and possibly a bunch of young mls players.

I just don't see him calling in Duane. Classic case of the American hype machine at work right here. Let the kid settle in. He's only just broken into the first team this season.

Don't know if it's a case of the classic hype machine. I am not putting it past the realm of possibility that Klinsmann may call him up. I haven't hyped Duane up. I am not saying he should be an automatic starter for the USMNT, or that he is the next coming of Maradonna.

What would it hurt to bring Holmes in to train with the USMNT? Absolutely nothing.

All I know is that Klinsmann likes to spring surprises.

Yes of course Klinsmann will be focused mainly on players that he thinks might be WC bound, but I will ask again: what would it hurt to bring in a couple of youngsters like Arriola or Holmes to train with the USMNT? Absolutely nothing. Klinsmann and the USMNT has everything to gain. If Holmes or Arriola shows very well in training then it's an advantage for the USMNT not a disadvantage.

In Sir Matt Busby's eternal words."if you're good enough, you're old enough."

Freddy Adu, Brek Shea, and Juan Agudelo's ludicrous egos may have been a direct result of being hyped too early. Not that its avoidable.

Expect the roster(s) in November to be really close to an "A" team (meaning the best 18-23 players available). Again, I'm saying close to it. Since the Hex started when has JK experimented in large numbers? Just once, the Gold Cup, and there is no time left to do that, other than a January camp and non-FIFA match days in January/February. A player from that camp/games could make the March FIFA match day roster.

I have no doubt that JK will still work in new players. You never ignore trying to make the player pool deeper. How many examples are there of World Cup or European Championship rosters including a player that wasn't on anyone's radar (such as not playing in WCQs)?

I think he will bring in two or three newbies for the games in November, but not a whole lot of them. I would imagine the rosters will look something like what JK brought to play against Bosnia.

Teams must submit a 30 player roster to FIFA by May 12th. This is the list of players that will make the final 23. The final 23 is due on June 2nd; this is the date JK is looking to and any new call-ups better be something special if they want to make the final 23.

JK has stated it's time to prepare for the World Cup and I read that as him finalizing what players he feels will contribute in Brazil, seeing what combos work best together, and further defining their roles. The goal is to find his best 30. He has three FIFA match days to do that, two in November and one in March.

At the moment these are my 30 (and they will take up the large majority of the roster spots for Scotland and Austria):

GK (4): Howard, Guzan, Rimando, S. Johnson.

DF (10): Evans, Gonzalez, Besler, F. Johnson, Cameron, Orozco Fiscal, Goodson, Beasley, Castillo, Parkhurst.

MF (10): Zusi, Bradley, Jones, Donovan, Bedoya, Beckerman, Diskerud, Kljestan, Corona, Davis.

FW (6): Altidore, Dempsey, E. Johnson, Johannson, Boyd, Wondolowski.

JK has close to 40 players that could be considered for the 30-man list. That means for a new player, at best, you better be the next coming of, say, Nick Rimando, Michael Orozco Fiscal, Sacha Kljestan or Eddie Johnson to break into the group. At the moment none of these four are, most likely, starters. But I bet all four are legit players for the final 23. You better be the next Aron Johannsson or Mix Diskerud if you want to get looked at and replace guys like the four mentioned above.

It can be done and JK will still look for them, but I don't believe he will use the final three FIFA match days to bring in more than 2-3 at a time.

Safe to say that the November friendlies will not consist of what people perceive as the best 20 to 23 players.

I'd take Herc over Wondo personally...

Corona chances are fading with every week as he's not playing.

Mix has him beat in the middle. Bedoya has him beat out wide.

Unless he's (Corona) being slotted on the left...until Shea gets fit and healthy and in form, we're pretty clueless as to who to put there on a regular basis.

I would say Fabian Johnson, Landon Donovan, Edgar Castillo and even Brad Davis after his Panama game would be ahead of Corona right now.
