Since he's on Hoffenheim, hopefully Fab will be the little birdie in his ear saying "USA...choose USA, have a beer choose USA"

This lineup would crush Austria and Scotland! (presuming Dempsey and Bradley get back into form in a month)

That Lijaih guy sounds intriguing. Imagine if we called up him AND Lichaj.

I would be flabbergasted if JK called in more than 3 new players for the November friendlies. It just hasn't been in his nature to bring in a large group of newcomers all at once. Not to say that I wouldn't like that, because I would. I'd love to see guys like Arriola or Holmes brought in. Just doubtful that it's going to happen.

Jurgen will max call up 1 "new"/newlyrecalled player. And it is either Chandler or Lichaj (not both). Arriola and Holmes are ways away.

I could really see Holmes getting called in. Even if it's only just to train with the guys. He is already in Europe.

Side comment. I know Arriola and Holmes are getting much attention, but I think Kelyn Rowe has been fantastic this season, got his professional start a bit later (thanks college), but is definitely one on the USMNT radar in next 1-2 yrs (or sooner).

I'm not big on college for serious players but Rowe made his pro debut at age 20 + 3 months

All in all, that's not bad.

2tone Please stop it with that nonsense........... I respect your analysis most of the time but when it comes to Arriola and Holmes getting called in this cycle it makes you sound like admsghs27. Those 2 are VERY talented younger players but no need to rush them and JK doesn't think the U 20 crop is there yet and if Gil is not even getting called in these 2 won't, even if it's for training and seeing how they fit into the group.

I think I am quite entitled to my opinion, thank you very much. Just as you are. Stop repressing me.

You admitted that they are VERY talented young players so why would that be rushing if they are talented enough to play at that level. I am not saying that they will but it seems to me that they would get called in just for training to see where they're at.
Like we know what JK really thinks about the whole U20 crop of players. If we know one thing, it's that JK tends to make surprising choices every now and then.

Because they are talented doesn't mean they should be called in to the national team. JK is quoted saying the U20 guys aren't ready, also why would you call in these 2 guys who have what a total of 10 league games of professional experience, what kind of message does that send to these kids, you want them to earn it, and to be consistent for at least a full pro season, not to flood their heads with exposure they probably are not ready for and thinking just because of talent that will get you called up, c'mon man let's be realistic and let these kids deliver on a consistent basis over a course of a full professional season and not a hand full of games.

The USMNT classic with Mexico was a tale of two halves, with the U.S. drawing 2-2 with Mexico.
