Other possible call-ups: Ogunbiyi, Holmes, Gyau.

Should be an interesting roster regardless of who gets the call-up.

scotland and austria suck.. I think usa should take defferent players.. My line up vs scotland

Boyd

Arriola Kljestan Johansson

Torres Bedoya

Fabian Ream Brooks Lichaj

Guzan

Subs, Sean johnson, altidore, shea, williams, Holmes. Mix

I'd be down to see a line up similar to this...

Get rid of Ream, torres, and bedoya though (not a fan of bedoya)

zusi said yesterday if SKC makes it to the semis, he wont be called in

obvious for all MLS playoff teams.

so any ideas for non playoff mls guys? at least until we know who's out?

Deleon? Pontius? Trapp? Hedges? John?

Personally, I think Zimmerman/O'Neill should be called in to pair Brooks, since they're the most likely starters for 2018, we should start playing them together as soon as possible.

Zimmerman shouldn't be anywhere near a USMNT call-up. O'Neill will more than likely be in MLS play-offs.

Knockout Games: Oct. 30-31 (Wed.-Thurs.)

Conference Semifinals, Leg 1: Nov. 2-3 (Sat.-Sun.)
Conference Semifinals, Leg 2: Nov. 6-7 (Wed.-Thurs.)

Conference Finals, Leg 1: Nov. 9-10 (Sat.-Sun.)
Conference Finals, Leg 2: Nov. 23-24 (Sat.-Sun.)

MLS Cup: Dec. 7 (Sat.)

MLS just posted the dates for the playoffs. Break is given for the international players although again we won't know who.

So whats the strategy for these two games? Best starting 11 against Scotland with bubble battlers as subs. Then release a few locks after Scotland (e.g. Timmy) and start a mix of best 11 and bubble battlers against Austria?

I think there will be a mix. I think your players that are locked in will be:

Gk: Guzan, Howard

Defense: Brooks, Cameron, Dolo, Chandler, Fabian

CM's: Bradley, Diskerud, Kljestan

Attackers: Altidore, AJ, Boyd

Jones: Needs surgery on that knee, and could very well not be a part of the November matches.

After that I think the rest will be filled in by MLS players that are available, Liga MX players that will be available, and maybe some young players from Europe i.e. Wood, Gyau, possibly Holmes.

World cup draw simulator is fun, but still to many variables at present. France, Portugal, and Uruguay may not even make the WC which would weaken the WC field as a whole.

I like your enthusiam 2tone. I want Chandler, you want Chandler, everyone does mostly. I hope Klinsy realizes that the only way Chandler can get out of his doghouse is playing and showing he wants to be part of the 23 going to Brazil. Tough but these next few games for him at Nurnberg are crucial.

Dolo: its all about getting games and his health. He trained fully today so I think he's on the right track.

One of the first groups I got was Germany, US, Ghana, France. Yikes. But for the most part the groups will be tough but possible.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
