If you want to talk about crazy subplots in group b of UEFA with italy qualified there will be 4 teams on tuesday competing for just one playoff spot. Armenia got their first home points today against bulgaria. Armenia has 9 points on the road and before today had lost all of their home games even against malta. If armenia makes the playoffs that would be crazy however they have to beat italy on tuesday but they do have a really good road record and italy has nothing to play for. Italy are up 1-0 on denmark and the results will likely be Bulgaria 13 points czech republic 12 denmark 12 and armenia 12 heading into tuesday with bulgaria v czech republic denmark v malta and italy v armenia. It should be one hell of a finish in that group.

Funny how, if the result holds, Iceland will be in the playoff spot in group E heading into the final match day. And here everyone was talking about how great of a decision it was for Johannsson to rep the USMNT because Iceland would never make a WCF in his playing time.

What an incredibly daft pass by the Portuguese keeper. What was he thinking? The Israeli equalizer was handed to them on a silver platter.

Teams that go to the playoff round could be dangerous... 1990 Argentina went playoff vs australia, went to the final.. 1994 brazil went playoff and won world cup.. Just saying can a playoff team this year win a world cup ? it could be france or spain ? Uruguay ? many dangerous teams in playoff round..

The two African games were highly entertaining especially Burkina Faso vs. Algeria.

What interests you on Tuesday?

For me it's:

US vs Panama
Mexico vs Costa Rica
Egypt vs Ghana
Bosnia vs Lithuania
England vs Poland
Uruguay vs Argentina

and Honduras vs Jamaica to a lesser extent to see how it shakes out the Concacaf seeds.
