Tough loss.

Gustavo hit the post with a great shot, defender caught ball watching, and Dost cleans it up for the game winner

Hertha in 17th right above only Stuttgart. Need to get some good results before the friendlies

If Hertha does get relegated, I have a feeling there will be many suitors for Brooks from the Bundesliga and the EPL. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bayern Munich renew their interest in him.

Very tough loss thought Brooks did ok. But yes if they do get relegated I'm sure there will be offers from other Bundesliga clubs he is young and still improving. But if he was go to Epl I would like him to go to a Champions league club, Liverpool ? Southhampton ? Man U ? Ect..

I think we're building Brooks up to be more than he is. At least for right now. Dude has potential, but personally, I don't want to see him going to a Bayern, United, Liverpool, etc. Go to a mid-upper table club first. He's still young, and I would love to see him cement his place at a club like Leverkusen, Schalke, Gladbach, etc.

agreeeeeeed. I love when players challenge themselves but I love it more when they succeed and are consistently performing well. I think often times our youth tries to make the jump too early, that's why I have always loved Bedoya - the man is self-aware enough to know the level he's capable of.

I agree. They always promise to give them playing time when a young player moves to a big club. Few months in then bam buried on the bench.

I think he's comfortable at Hertha if they stay up. If not, any kind of move for him would be possible.

ummm Hertha is having a down year....but they are historically a mid upper table Club.

if they survive, cant see him moving to any Club that isnt a step up.

if they dont, a midtable Club might be more likely, but there arent a whole lot of top class CBs if you look around europe....personally, i would like to see him shoot for the stars if given the Chance. also, i think it is actually easier to Play CB for a Bayern or ManU etc that has 70% Possession than a midtable Team so it might make sense to go to a top Team if he can get playing time.

Hertha was in bundes 2 just two years ago. Last time they were a consistent mid upper table team was ages ago and a different time for european soccer.

That being said I agree with the sentiment and would love to see him go to a team like Shalke or MBlach or Frankfort (partner with Timmy). I also wouldn't be opposed to him going to Ajax or a UCL qualified Dutch team on a short deal. Get used to some free attachking football and see how he handles that. Do that well and he'll be ready to spring board to a UCL EPL or Bundes team in 2017.

I'd like to see him go to a club that already has a USMNT defender or 2 on it.

The more guys we can have playing together in complementing positions the better off we will be.

I know Roberto Martinez at Everton is a fan of Brooks and that Phil jagielka isn't getting any younger. Play him next to john stones I think that would be as high as Brooks could get at this moment.

Stoke would probably be interested as well as they have shown they aren't afraid to bring in Americans and they are very thin at CB. Cameron isnt getting any younger either and is probably best served as a depth guy to back up CB and RB rather than a nightly starter

The only EPL squad with Champions League aspirations he could have a reasonable shot at quality minutes with would be Arsenal. I think staying in Germany may be best for him.

Not even certain he has a shot at Arsenal. They have Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gabriel, and Chambers (who can be iffy like Brooks)

Pretty sure when it comes to defenders ManUre is not as good as Arsenal. Yeah ManUre might have less goals this year, but that's because Arsenal has not been healthy. Rarely have we had our top 2 CB's on the field together this year (they played almost every game last year), our GK's form has also been down.

Anyways I'll take Kosclieny and Mertesacker over Rojo and Jones any day. Especially since neither Rojo or Jones are most comfortable as CB's but rather are more comfortable on the outside. Kosclieny and Mertesacker are both true CB's. Brooks is a true CB.
