I don't want to see Cameron anymore at CB. Orozco remains underrated.

Don't know about Orozco he is somewhat of a Knuckle head. I would love to see a Brooks/Gonzo pairing might be one of the Best we have ever, along with Fabian/Garza at LB and Yedlin/Chandler at RB.

So orozco is a knucklehead but Gonzo is not?? Every time you gain credibility you take two steps back. Serious and Omar G don't belong in the same sentence, so I can't believe you are using that for criteria. Quit being such a fan boy in your reasoning or just admit you want an all LA Galaxy 11 for the USMNT. Just say you think Omar is better without giving a dumbass reason for it.

Seriously Gonzo is much better than Orozco internationally is a fact I really don't care what fans think or say. All fans have their players they prefer. Some want Gonzo, others Orozco, others Cameron, others Jones, others Besler etc.... I'm basing on results and field of play is my opinion some will.disagree others will agree. And Orozco single handidly took usa out of Olympics when we had a very good chance to win gold. And in case some have not seen Orozco he plays RB club wise just more depth huh..

Olympics? which game or tournament was this. Just curious

Considering the defensive work recently against Colombia i would say Jones and Brooks are our CB's. Beslers and Gonzo are familiar with each other if needed another pairing and orozco has been solid nothing spectacular though.
5 capable CB's

Heck lets hope AJ Soares makes it 6 playing in Seria A and all

I like orozco but I still think Matt Besler and Omar Gonzalez are ahead of him when they are back in form. They both have dipped for the usmnt in form recently but at the world cup they both played at high levels. I believe that both will get back into the form they showed before. Personally I think Brooks Gonzalez or Brooks Jones is the most likely situation in the gold cup. Orozco is good depth but I dont think he is in the starting 11 for the future. I still wouldnt rule out anything either with klinsmann. I like cameron but his best position is cdm he can fill in at centerback but he shouldnt be looked at as a cb going forward. I am not sure about the jones decision long term since New England want to keep him in midfield and not play him at centerback. Could it work out maybe maybe not.

I guess Jones is a "Project" which is why JK moved him there even though he can play CDM at a high level. 100% agree on Cameron he is CDM

Well maybe you haven't been fallowing us soccer as long as me. 2008 Olympics USA V Nigeria. Orozco with an incredible idiotic play in the 2nd Min of the First half got a red and USA lost 2-1 and Bowed out of group stage, Considering they would of had Bradley and Adu back the next game and Nigeria ended up going to the final. Geeez the most talented team to date. Not even our 2016 squad had/has the talent of 2008 in my opinion.

I have no problem with you preferring Gonzalez, he's a fine player. But you can't use the criteria of knucklehead when that IS your boy Omar in a nutshell. And to hold a grudge over a game six years ago is pretty ridiculous. Also Cameron was RB at his club and jumped straight into the CB spot, neither is Jones a CB at club. Everyone has their opinion, although we all seem to be on Brooks as #1. He just needs the right partner. They all offer different things, it's up to Jurgen to get it right.

To be honest I think Hedges will be in the mix very soon, but I do think it is highly likely we see a Jones/Brooks CB pairing 6 months from now in the Gold Cup.

i know i was anti-cameron before he found a steady job again in the center of the park... but it looks like he has. JK was fond of cameron already, so this may be a no-brainer come GC

bradley-cameron
-brooks--jones-

jones will be untested at CB, but the end game is russia 18, not GC 15 - go ahead and roll it out now
