Wouldn't be surprised if he does get called up, if he keeps producing for Huddersfield.

Here's the highlights of a game he played in, he's the guy with the long ponytail in the center making two good passes.

Wow must say he is very very fluid with his through balls and passing skills. Hopefully he can get his team to promotion or move to an low EPL team to develop his skills and play with world class players week in and out

I think Duane's goal for this season should be to become a regular starter going 75-90' a night with Hudd. If that happens regardless of team outcome I'm sure he'll get some looks from a team like Southampton, WBA, West Ham

Mark Robins can only hold back Duane Holmes so much. His talent alone will get him on the field as a starter this year. Huddersfield's only problem is he will probably be sold once he plays regularly.

He isn't holding him back, he is taking it slow with a young kid.

He is 19 going on 20. Why hold him back, there are many players at hid age already playing 90 min soccer even in the Epl. He should be a full time starter this year. At least going 80 a game.

I get the whole taking it slow thing but he's been taking it slow for far too long. His game was good last season, and was a positive influence 80%. I would have thought that meant he would at least start becoming to go to sub role, but the end of last season he wasn't even that. I just hope he doesn't go to waste. I like the kid and would really like to see him start getting meaningful minutes.

I think he was taking it slow with him as well, should have a break out season tho. At least 80 min a game and could easily see him going to a mid table EPL side like Swansea or Southampton with his skill.

Looks like he has put on a little muscle. That's good. Yeah he just glides by players, and makes a difficult pass look easy. Fast, high football IQ, and can dribble by players with ease. I really hope Klinsmann gives him a long look in the coming months and years. He will also be a big part of the US U-23 team as well. His game reminds me of a Ribery/Donovan hybrid.

I also hope he is a regular starter for Huddersfield this season.

For some reason I'm more excited about Holmes than most of the other U-23's. I just think he's going to blossom in the higher levels. The acceleration AND speed. The high IQ. All of it. I'm reallllllly excited. I hope it's not for nothing.
