Holmes made his debut on the Cap One in a 1-0 loss to Huddersfield.

From all reports and from people I talked to at the game, he was incredible and the best player on the field.

Great to see that from an American teenager.

Keep an eye on him.

I am confused. He was born in Atlanta, went to England at some point, was part of Man City youth since 2004, and he has never been capped by any US youth age group???

He was never part of Man City.

He's been paying with Huddersfield since the U-9 level.

He wants to play for the United States...... badly

I hadn't heard about him until he was featured here for the first time, and it was clear in that article he only wants to play for us, I was just having a bit of fun...

Psyched to see what this kid can do...just hope he can keep his level of performance consistent, he could be a darkhorse to get into the WC23 if he does really really well.

Reminds me of the same Duane Holmes I said should be on the roster for the U-20 WC.

What position did he play yesterday? Isn't he more of an attacking CM type of player? Does he have the chops to play as a winger?
