There was most definitely a time where "we" thought Cameron was the answer at CB. He's had a few poor performances and those have left a bad taste in people's mouths, but Omar has been equally poor in club and country, whereas Cameron has always been one of stokes better defenders. Not saying he should play CB for us, because I think he should play RB and only CB if needed, but there was a time where he was a strong CB for us. I think he is still capable of good performances there. Once again the guy is just versatile.

Wow. Lets use one game as an entire sample size, right? All of the sudden every player we have looks like shite. Seriously guy. Cameron competes week in/week out in the BPL. You have stated before how much you think Cameron sucks as a player. Omar Gonzales is slow, weak, poor passing, poor control, and prone to making game costing mistakes. I'm sorry, but where is his advantage to Cameron? I like Gonzo as much as the next guy, but I won't delude myself into thinking he is a good CB. Obviously potential is there, but it hasn't become reality yet. If Gonzo is starting in Brazil, then I am seriously terrified.

Well Goodson, JAB, and Besler are other options that are clearly better so id say the odds are that he won't be starting. I'd rate Besler and JAB above him immediately. Goodson has had his ups and downs but as of now I wouldn't be comfortable just yet with him as a starter against the top flight. Like the "injury" thread would state, we have a year I evaluate who is the best option. A lot can happen between now and then.
