With JJ and MB out I'd like to see Cameron shading behind Mix... Knowing JK, it could easily be Beckerman as the 6. Really hope we see Chandler given another shot and AJ given an opportunity to play a ton of minutes.

Everytime I think klinsmann is going 2 get rid of parkhurst he always calls him back. I will never understand klinsmann absolute hypocricy of club form and then calling up parkhurst again and again. If parkhurst gets called up again I will lose it we need to see what our other right backs can do and we have limited games after october qualifiers to do it. I think its extremely important we can get chandler in for october qualifiers because we will need him for WCQ qualifiers in 2018 cycle. There should be no doubt as to whether he will be able to be the starting rb for that cycle since it is rumored he is afraid of flying.

I still think it is too early for arriola we should let him play and develop more, he is a great talent but let's not put too much pressure on him by giving him an early callup.

No way. It's time we stop coddling our players.

Yeah he sustained a injury in practice and was held out as a precaution. Will be back next week unless he picks up another injury before then.

Couldnt agree more. When you have 18/19 year old professionals that start getting minutes in good leagues for your talent pool then they should start getting looks. EVERY country in Europe does it. We need to start doing it and stop saying things like he needs more experience. No one is saying he should start but bring him to camp, maybe sub him in for 15 minutes if the game is practically decided and lets see how he handles himself. We need to do much more of this.

With these young guys, a lot of the time what they most is to train with their clubs and lock down a starting position, which the call-up only hinders.

The other issue is their ego. They're young kids and these call-ups can really mess up their attitudes. We've seen it happen a lot.

JK also likes to bring in players slowly and not just based on a little run of good form.

Having said that, I hope we call up Arriola. We desperately need wingers.

Due to injuries and a number of other reasons, this is what I'd like to see for October:

--Altidore--Johansson

----Donovan----

-Mix-------Kljestan-

-----Torres-----

CB: Brooks and someone else
OB: FJ may still be injured so I hope to see Cam, Chandler, or Lichaj
GK: Guzan

LB and RB to provide width. We have no wingers to use and those 3 cm's need to be put on display.

You have no true #6 in that formation, Brooks will be out due to injury, Fabian's injury doesn't look serious enough to rule him out, and Howard is still our #1.

Other than that, though, spot on.

Torres has no place on the USMNT. Our situation will never present an opportunity for him to play his natural position in his natural style of play. It won't happen.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
