Players we don't see play are always better than players we see play.

I think the funny thing about this thread and Klinsi's selections are that we have players that play a major role in the national team that couldn't start for Hoffenheim's reserves.

Just to name a few: Zusi, Beckerman, Goodson, Davis, Evans

Ill bet all those players could start for hoffenheim 1st team.

If those scrubs could start on even make Hof's first team, then how come no one in the Bundesliga has ever offered them a contract lol...

Here's another theory, if they are so good, why are they not getting paid at the rate Bundesliga players are being paid?

And please don't give me that, they love playing in the U.S. bs and they don't care about the money.

Last time I checked Ronaldo and Messi are arguably the 2 best players in the world and they care about the money and the level of competition.

I'll wait...

Don't drink the koolaid, our lesser players get exposed against top class teams. Simply because they aren't good enough. Too slow, too weak, technically, and tactically lacking.

Over 1000 soccer players could play.in hoffenheim. Not every single player gets offered world wide. There are several leagues around the world and even thi hoffenheim is in the bundesliga they are not exacy a great team. Heck a a couple mls teams are probably better than them. hoffenhei. Would not finish in the top in mls. Idk why people are so into gyau the guy hasnt played a single game for them, dude.couldnt even make it in the 2nd division. And ill tell u this im sure hoffenheim is not even a top 200 club in the world.

That's not true at all. They're in the Bundesliga. Even if you take all the teams from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Eredivisie, and Bundesliga, that's only around 100 teams. Please stop with your nonsense. It's embarrassing.

You realize the Hoffenheim reserves are in the fourth tier of German football, yeah? And you do realize that Jurgen Klinsmann is not an idiot, yeah? So you're saying that players that JK has continually called in and play a major role in the USMNT wouldn't be able to start in the German fourth division? Please tell me that again. I want you to re-type that so you realize what you said.

Im sure several clubs in other leagues in Europe are better. Sucks they dont get to play every team in Europe. Lets not forget liga mx, and.several.clubs in south America are better. For example mls is probably the 2nd best league in north America, but im sure many clubs in central America could beat say.chivas USA, DC united, tfc ext... Same goes for every league in the world. U might be in a top league but doesnt make u a better club than other clubs in less superior leagues..

admsghs27 the players Ive mentioned: Evans, Goodson, Zusi, Beckerman, have never been sought after by any relevant clubs outside of MLS. Problem is no big clubs or big leagues value MLS as nothing more than a development league. Players from top tier countries and leagues come to MLS to retire, vacation, or just to pick up an easy check not to play competitive football. This is no secret.

So, maybe I was exaggerating when I said those guys couldn't play reserve football in Bundesliga, but understand that those development players are usually young players who are in transition to either a division 1 side or premier side.

Players that are 30 in the MLS, who have never played or been in high demand abroad must have their quality in question.

Typical perspective, if we're not among the top 5 leagues in the world, then we are utter refuse.

ROTFLMAO! Now that is funny admsghs27!

Seems to me we have this debate every once and a while, whether it is Shea, Gatt, or Gyau. Every one of us has a favorite and each is better than the others in one aspect or another (IMO Gyau is the most skillfull of the three, Gatt the most athletic, and Shea the most physically gifted).

Personally I prefer Gyau. His skills would translate well for the MLS and I am sure there would be competition for him from numerous teams if he decided to join MLS.

The average, repeat average Bundesliga salary is more than the MLS salary cap for each team. People can pretend that players play in an area they love but when you can choose between making ~$500,000 (the higher end of MLS salaries for proven veterans/DP or borderline DP guys) or 3 million, its a no brainer choice for a proffesional athlete. If there agents could get them an offer like that theyd jump all over it.

Exactly gyau is there for the $ heck I would to,beven if I wasnt even getting playing time.
And yes gyau will not start right away in mls I wish he would come to mls,, and he would look avarage here, I mean the guy.is 21 already and playing in the 4th tier in Germany. Personally I would take Zach pfeffer over him, bet he will make the 1st team in hoffenheim if he was still there sooner than him. Im sure gyau will get loaned out again.

If he is that good why couldnt he help USA qualify to the sub 20 world cup. I mean they lost to Guatemala what a joke. If.his the type of player people here make it seem, thats all u need pretty much 1 high caliber player, 10 other avarage players to beat the lights of Guatemala rotf lmao... I think Guatemala got outscored like 30 to 5 or something in thee wc lol..

Okay, I'll spill it. If people say there is not any serious interest in Graham Zusi right now in Europe, they'd be wrong
