skillset but lacks the actual skills doesn't help us next summer

What does that even mean? I'm just saying it would be a good experiment considering he actually plays on the wing and we lack other real options. Klinsmann must of seen something when he called him in for the Russia game.

My point is Shea and Gyau are in the same position with their clubs. If you are going to experiment with Shea, then I dont see why you cant give Gyau a run out.

I agree though its a longshot he makes it ro Brazilm, an extreme longshot.

I think he is essentially just interested in the money as far as staying with HOF.

It is easy to make that statement, but it is incredibly naive. Have you met him, know anything about him or his family?

And before you turn the tables and ask me the same..yes, I do know his father and have played with and against him growing up. If he is anything like his father, then he wants to test himself and improve by playing for a team within one of the best leagues in the world.

I forget who said this earlier in the thread, but I agree that Hof must have some plan for him otherwise they would have let him go or loaned him out again.

Naive? His twitter header used to say something along the lines of "its all about tryin get that cash." Thats not just something kids say to be cool, they essentially mean it (to a substantial degree).

Actually I'm pretty sure that's exactly the thing a young kid says to look cool. Maybe you don't understand younger people and how they say dumb things just for that reason.
For I am creator of all things soccer. Seek repentance or just beat Mexico, either will get you in up here.

I think the funny thing about this thread and Klinsi's selections are that we have players that play a major role in the national team that couldn't start for Hoffenheim's reserves.

Just to name a few: Zusi, Beckerman, Goodson, Davis, Evans

Gyau is definitely making a case to be in Hoffenheims first team. Dude has been killing it for their reserves this season.

Players we don't see play are always better than players we see play.
