They have great fans.

I am always naturally skeptical of loans for young players, however. A few seem to work but most don't with the player not getting as many minutes as anticipated.

St Pauli is a great club. I am excited for him. I have also been looking for an excuse to buy a St. Pauli shirt...so there you go.

He didn't play. His twitter said something about needing to finish paperwork to renew Visa before he can play.

His Visa is finalized, he can play with them.

In a friendly on 9/4/12, Gyau played w/ St. Pauli and scored twice (though they played a crap team). http://www.fcstpauli.com/magazin/artikel.php?...

Chiming in late....

Good, albeit unexpected, move for Gyau! He'll see way more time with St. Pauli than he would have with Hoffenheim, which is the most important thing for him now. 2.BL is still a very good quality.

and Hoffenheim is terrible this year. The experience playing in the 2bund. and winning will be better than sitting on the bench losing with a very dysfunctional Hoffenheim.

Video of the kid playing in April 2012, I don't care how untested he is, the USMNT can use those natural talents NOW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yNvDfAMe5U&fe...!

Given the lack of wingers outside Shea (who I am not high on), and Klinsmann's past callup of Terrence Boyd who had never played a professional match, I ask you what is there to lose by bringing Gyau to camp to see what his speed and rough skills can provide as a sub.

I'd rather cap Pontius, Gatt, and others first. Shea is still good and Zusi is strong out wide. I also think moving Fabian Johnson into the midfield will eventually happen

Boyd got called up because he was behind players at one of the best clubs in the world. Gyau can wait
