Thought he did well with his 16 minutes. Took on players(he glides by people with ease) dished the ball off and passed well, good movement on and off of the ball, and almost got a game winning assist. Not bad, not bad at all. I think he will get more minutes as the season wears on.

All of the naysayers about his move to Dortmund, are looking a little silly right now.

Idk if i said it in this chat but i thought it was a strange move. He isnt young and should be playing first team football for a smaller club but he is already getting minutes at BVB at his age is pretty darn good. I am happy i was wrong lol. Crazy he disappeared from the earth for like years and now he is playing for BVB only more to come from him

I think what's interesting is that his career could have so easily careened off course, and on to the Freddy Adu path. Just goes to show what hard work and determination can do.

Sometimes you need the right set up to feel comfortable in and to flourish.

It matters a lot to go to the right System unless your a world superstar then they build a team around you. Like Jozy could of easily been a top 5 scorer in Epl had he been on a team like Arsenal, Man city, Liverpool ec.. But it did not happen.

Hahaha Matt Doyle completely flipped his script on Gyau, as if something magically happened in the past couple weeks. What a hack.

Anyways, awesome to see Gyau make his first team debut. A good thing about playing at a club like Dortmund is there's usually somebody better in front of you and/or somebody just as hungry behind you, so there's no place to be content. Keep fighting Joe!

On the Bench again today. If Dortmund is tied or down in the Second half i think he will make his debut. Hopefully he gets like 10-15 minutes today if he debuts.

Good call Admsghs27. Must give props where props are due. I'll eat my crow with pleasure here. I didn't foresee Gyau getting a shot at 1st team action this season but their struggles and his hard work created an opportunity and he grabbed it by the horns.

0:56 was his best play (control of ball, good decision, placement of pass).

1:12 although at first was good dribbling skill, showed rawness in decision making- that could have easily lead to a very bad counter in that position.

Should be enough to be a permanent call up for the USMNT. Jurgen loves this kind of thing (Striving for best club and fighting for PT).

I liked alot that 0:56 an extremely smart play from Gyau. He should def be on USMNT roster but just keep the kid grounded and not just put in in starting XI right away. There alot of time before Gold Cup for JK to work with Gyau and him to earn his BVB spot

Why shouldn't Grau be a starter going forward. He's officially our highest quality team playing American.

Not sure but at 0:56 it didn't look like the pass was intentional.
