Hoffenheim up 2-0 at half. I'd say they could bring on Gyau if they score again but Hoffenheim's defense is just bad.

Yep. No Gyau. And that's alright. They defended most of the half save for a few chances. Good win for Hoffenheim. Fabian went 90.

Saw your Gyau article Brian. I still lean toward Joe wanting to stay in Germany because of the higher salary vs. MLS. Look at his profile description, he lays it out, "#CatchMeWhereTheCakeAt"

Just think about the USMNT with this attack:

Green--------AJ--------Gyau
-----------Nagbe--------

Gyau has not proven he can succeed in a league like Bund-2, or even MLS, let's see how he turns out before putting him in any future lineup. Still a prospect until he actually gets consistent 1st team minutes.

Gyau went another 30 minutes today. Subbed on at 60th minute. Looks like he was quite involved in the attack winning free kicks and taking multiple shots. I hope he continues to see more and more minutes.

Steven Goff just tweeted that Joe Gyau will be moving from Hoffenheim to Borussia Dortmund this transfer window.

Interesting move considering he's 21 and spent most of last season in the reserves.

Good luck to him.

I don't like this move. Moved from the reserves to the bench for the last handful of games last season. FOR HOFFENHEIM.

Interesting move. Looks like Hoffenheim were still not willing to promise him first team ball. Not saying he will get it with Dortmund, but you don't move unless Dortmund are seriously considering him for first team soccer. Reports indicate that Reus is likely going to be sold which leaves Dortmund lacking in the attacking/wide forward positions.

Joe has a ton of talent and potential, don't be surprised if Dortmund give him first team opportunities this up coming season.

Time to start the Gyau v Green pool. Who plays (actual minutes) first?
